New Work for the Opera!

'Relics and Gems'... Made using found charms and trinkets, this piece has a fragment of fabric trapped in resin as its' centrepiece.

'A Gift, from myself (to myself)'...  Lillie's mother always used this little phrase whenever she indulged in a little something for herself!

'This Little Piggie'... is already snapped up from Colman Doyle Gallery but similar piggies can be created on request!

Guilty Lillie is showing her pieces at The Blue Egg Gallery and Colman Doyle's Festival Gallery for the duration of the opera festival.  Colman Doyle's gallery is located on Peter Street, running between South Main street and St. Peter's Square.  And The Blue Egg is in its usual central location on John's Gate Street, just behind the Arts Centre in Wexford Town.

New pieces available at Place, Gorey, Co. Wexford

Lillie has attracted attention with her new cabinet at Place, art gallery and shop in Gorey. Co. Wexford.  She has created many new, unique pieces for the cabinet, including earrings, badges, pendants and necklaces.  All are handmade and all have their own particular story...

'The Collector', named after one of Lillie's closest friends, Hubert Clane, who left to Lillie, in his will, his entire collection of objets bizarre.  This piece can be worn open, as above, or closed, with all of the charms clustered together..

'The Collector' (detail)

'Charmed'... Lillie lets tiny trinkets and personal keepsakes find their own ways together.  Here, religious discs, and fragments of gifted jewellery dangle and jangle beside a modern frilled resin disc and pumpkin bead.

'I Spy....'  In gratitude for a deep friendship with her father, an optician's daughter presented these genuine lenses to Lillie, after his death.  (Limited edition)

'Nearly Twins'....These trinkety earrings match and don't match..

'Postcards from Rome'... Lillie herself bought this tiny postcard booklet while she was holidaying in Rome.

'Postcards from Rome' is leather bound with Roma embossed on the front.  Inside are tiny postcard images of all the best spots!

'Revolution' was created using gros grain ribbon from a favourite hat of Lillie's.

Another detail from 'The Collector', tiny bell, brass heart, coloured beads and diamante...
