Guilty Lillie specialises in re-constructing and re-inventing your most treasured possessions, those you can't bear to part with but just can't figure out what to do with, either. She will take your old jewellery, souvenirs, keepsakes and small bric-a-brac items to create unique, quirky, wearable and timeless pieces.
Every bead, button and geegaw is treated knowing its value, not in monetary terms, but with wonder and a nostalgia for the beautiful, curious and often downright bizarre things of a not yet forgotten era. Most particularly, Guilty Lillie has a delicate respect for the history and emotional investment embedded within the keepsakes that she receives from her clients.
To date, Lillie has 're-treasured' single earrings, dressing gown buttons, tickets stubs, wedding garment fragments, birth certificate fragments, grandmother's engagement rings, first teeth, locks of hair and even fragments of furniture or front door fragments from a beloved house!
How Does Re-Treasuring Work?
The Search: Root through your loved items - things you have kept safe for years and years. Things you thought would stay in that box forever, until you discovered Guilty Lillie.
The Contact: Email Guilty Lillie with a no-obligation inquiry, describing the item and your thoughts on how the piece(s) could be transformed.......
The Commission: We liaise with you to discuss possible designs for a finished piece and the commission is agreed via email.
The Time: Finished pieces are posted from Lillie's Studio, by registered mail within 14 days of the final commission agreement (with the exception of request of unusual/particular additional materials). (Local and International posting times apply)
The Cost: We apply a basic €40 design fee and the cost of the final piece will be agreed in advance to cover complexity of design and cost of selected materials.
The Promise: We use only the highest quality materials in our finishes and promise to treat clients' treasured possessions with the loving care and respect that they should receive.....
The Advice: Guilty Lillie recommends that clients send valued items via registered post.
