The Bullring Market, Wexford

There is a meeting of craft-makers and artisans this Thursday the 14th of April at the Riverbank Hotel, Wexford, at 11am, to discuss ways in which the Bullring Market can become the thriving, vibrant market that it should be.

There is huge interest in trading at the market but the Borough Council has made it prohibitive for traders by imposing a full-year's trading fee upfront - €1000!  The council has spent tens of thousands renovating this beautiful covered market but yet their administration of it has meant it sits almost idle, with only a few brave traders ponying up the fee to trade.

Local councillors and press have said they will attend, so hopefully we can finally put pressure on Wexford Borough Council to change their administration of the market.

If you are a maker, grower, baker or alterer, please come along and share your ideas on how we could revive the market.

xx Kate
